On Rally Day, Sunday, September 13th, the congregation and the quilters will be packaging Baby Care Kits for Lutheran World Relief (LWR). This year, our goal is to send 40 kits, and we still need several items to complete them.
Please see the list of required items below, as well as the attached flyer from LWR outlining their specific requirements. Please review these guidelines before making your donations.
Important Donation Instructions:
- DEADLINE: Please bring your donations to the church by Wednesday, September 9th.
- Drop-off Locations: You can leave items in the green-lidded Rubbermaid container labeled "Thank You, Quilters Donations" at the bottom of the staircase, or in the Rubbermaid bin located in the Narthex under the monitor.
- Condition Requirements: Per LWR instructions, all items must be new or handmade. The only exception is donated or thrifted clothing in pristine, like-new condition. Socks, towels, and soap must be brand-new. Stained, unhemmed, or worn items can result in customs fines and jeopardize the entire shipment.

1. Gowns, sleepers, or 2-pieced pajama sets; long or short-sleeved and WITHOUT feet
9 months - need 15
12 months - need 2
18 months - need 5
24 months - need 16
2. Sweater, sweatshirt, or hoodie
9 months - need 7
18 months - need 8
24 months - need 5
3. Socks - large size 18-24 months - need 21 pairs
4. Hand towels - dark color - need 12
