St Andrew will once again be supporting the Mundelein Boo Bash!

It’s that time of year again— the annual Mundelein Park District Boo Bash event is just around the corner on October 18! To make it a success, we’ll be handing out at least 1,000 pieces of candy and I could really use your help.

If you're able to donate a bag or two of *Individually wrapped candy (Peanut-free please) such as starburst, skittles, sour patch kids, Swedish fish, etc. by October 11, it would go a long way toward helping us reach that goal. Every contribution makes a difference, and together, I’m confident we can make this event amazing for the kids. Please bring the candy to church and leave with me, Anita, or Pr Jenna. Thank you!

From Park District website:

Join us for a spooktacular FREE (for residents) Halloween pre–registered event for the entire family! Dress up in your favorite costumes and take a family walk alongside the community, trick–or–treating at local business tables and trunks. Enjoy fall festivities including a giant pumpkin bounce house, a pumpkin patch, a storybook walk, and more. Don’t miss the chance to vote for your favorite pumpkin in our pumpkin contest—vote with loose change and help benefit Mundelein Parks Foundation which offers scholarships to residents with a financial need.

Food trucks will be available for those wishing to purchase delicious treats. Make sure to dress for the weather and bring a bag for candy. Every child aged 12 and under must register to receive a wristband for candy, while those aged 13+ do not need to register and will not receive candy. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Please arrive at your designated check–in time, as same–day registrations will not be accepted. Registration closes on October 14th. Don’t miss out on this festive family fun—register today!
